Georgia State Organization
About GSOBeginningsThe Georgia State Organization of DKG was organized on November 28, 1936, with 12 charter members. As the twenty-third state organization of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, it was named Psi State for the twenty-third letter of the Greek alphabet. In 2019 in adherence with DKG International rules, the Greek name was retired in favor of the geographic name. It is often referred to as GSO. Read about our founders at the link below.
Through the YearsTo better serve its members, chapters in GSO were organized into six districts. Through its nearly nine decades, GSO has had many renown members serve in their local communities, chapters, districts, and state, and international level. Find out more using the links below.

Moving into the Future
Many changes have occurred over the decades. Three things have remained constant and are as vital today as they were when DKG was founded in Texas in 1929: our mission, our vision, and our purposes. GSO has almost 2,000 members in 62 chapters across the state. Read more about the work of GSO, its passions, projects, and pursuits. Click on the links below.
